Building Bridges

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT at LIVING HOPE

We work closely with government departments and non-government organisations to facilitate community development, particularly, community-led services for tackling community tensions, unemployment, and poor infrastructural resources.

Social Justice

We organise gender-focused initiatives to address gender inequalities, youth-focused initiatives to train young people into leadership, and provisions for children (such as nurseries, babysitting, child-minding, outdoor play areas) and the elderly (such as social centres for elderly care and care homes). We care passionately about social justice issues, in particular, we recognise the discrimination of people living in the margins, minority groups and people who have no political voice.

We organise training and support for such groups and their activists to improve institutional awareness and broaden the political and economic space for minority rights and social inclusion.
